Abstract: | Natural fibers are considered to be the next generation fibers for the composite manufacturers, because they have the potential to replace the synthetic or the traditional fibers. In the present days composite industries are emerging from small scale to large scale sectors, which include marine, aerospace, automotive, and other military applications. Among them natural plant fibers are widely used especially in automotive and structural applications, packaging industries, and others. Various issues and aspects of natural plant fibers for industrial applications are studied. Reuse and recycle of these plant fibers for the composite technologies are focused. Developments of these natural plant fibers for the industries are highly expected in the market. © 2013 by Apple Academic Press, Inc. |
