dc.description.abstractSigmoidal utility function is one of the approaches evolved in network selection during handover decisions in heterogeneous wireless networks. Many variations of the sigmoidal utility function exist in literature, with their own merits and demerits. The objective of this paper is to compare and analyse the performances of some of the popularly used sigmoidal utility functions using MATLAB.
