dc.description.abstract | In this paper, a conventional powerflow programme is modified to accommodate solar photovoltaics (SPV) power systems with series power injections. This approach facilitates inclusion of the SPV non-linear equations within main loadflow iteration process, demanding less computational efforts. In this programme, in addition to series reactive power specification, bus voltage control strategy can also be easily handled. To demonstrate the workability of the programme, including SPV power system, a grid connected SPV system is considered. Test cases pertaining to various meteorological variables and effect of X/R ratio of the interconnecting line, are also presented. 2016 IEEE. | en_US |
